There's this one particular traffic light that I swear I always hit on the ride home. Well, except that I don't. It just seems that way. Because of course it's only memorable when I have to stop.
This week's classes have focused on precision of language, and this example led to some good discussion. No, we don't always hit that light. And rarely does everyone know something. And rarely is something always the case.
Always, never, everyone, everybody, no one, nobody…gotta be careful with those words.
